Sometimes I think about how much the world has changed from our past to our present. We’ve gone from caves to castles; from paper to pixels; and from walking to flying! Yet with all these changes many aspects of life still stay the same. We still worry about our health, our environment, taxes, and such. We still feel the same emotions our ancestors did; go through the same problems they did; handle the same situations they did. There is a common link among our lives no matter which age we live it in or where we live it. Does this apply to language (specifically expressions) too?
